General Terms and Conditions

 

Booking and payment

  1. Booking confirmation: Your booking is confirmed once we receive your deposit. The deposit is 50% of the total amount and is required upon signature of the contract. The deposit amount and payment details will be provided during the booking process.
  2. Full payment The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event date. Failure to pay the remaining balance on time may result in the cancellation of your booking.
  3. Pricing: The prices of the services are indicated in Swiss Francs (CHF). VAT is not applicable.

Cancellation policy

  1. Cancellation notice:

    • 30 days or more: If you cancel your booking 30 days or more before the event date, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
    • 30 to 14 days: If you cancel your booking between 30 and 14 days before the date of the event, you will receive a refund of 50% of your deposit.
    • Less than 14 days: If you cancel your booking less than 14 days before the date of the event, your deposit will not be refunded.
  2. Customised items: Any money invested in custom items such as backdrops, props or other personalised elements will not be refunded regardless of the cancellation date. These items are created specifically for your event and cannot be reused.

Changes to the event

  1. Date changes: If you need to change the date of your event, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your new date, subject to availability. Date changes requested less than 14 days before the event may incur additional fees.

Service Guarantee

  1. Setup and operation: Our team will arrive approximately 1 hour before the event to ensure the Photobooth is set up. This time is free of charge and not included in your hire time, which is exclusively for the use of the Photobooth.
  2. Technical issues: Depending on the bundle, you will receive either telephone support or an on-site attendant to resolve technical problems and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Rented equipment

  1. The Photobooth hire includes:
    • Apple iPad 10.9″ 2022
    • Selphy CP1500 printer
    • Professional lighting
    • Professional backdrop
    • Props

Event requirements

  1. Space and power: The customer must provide sufficient space and a power connection for setting up the Photobooth. The space must be at least 3 x 3 metres on a flat surface. The customer is responsible for ensuring that a power socket (3-pin, 220 V, 10 A) is available within a radius of 5 metres from the location of the Photobooth.

Liability

  1. Damage to Equipment: The client is responsible for any damage to the Photobooth equipment caused by guests or event attendees. Repair or replacement costs will be billed to the client.
  2. Liability Limitations: Partyanimals is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur during the use of our Photobooth services.

Indemnification

  1. Client Agreement: The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Partyanimals against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the event, including those caused by guests or third parties.

Photo Usage

  1. Client Photos: By using our Photobooth, you agree that Partyanimals may use event photos for promotional purposes, including on our website and social media. If you prefer not to have your photos used in this manner, please inform us in writing before your event.

Privacy Policy

  1. Data Protection: We respect your privacy and protect your personal data. Photos and contact details are stored securely and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

Force Majeure

  1. Unforeseen Events: Partyanimals is not liable for any failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or other acts of God.

Amendments

  1. Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions with notice. Any changes will be communicated to clients in advance.
